Two works. Uncrowned — an empty pedestal, the throne of validation waiting for art that never arrives. Unthroned — a video loop of fool's gold burning on a floor, cast from the hierarchy of currency, liberated from the burden of the pedestal and the permission of others.

One lacks a subject. The other lacks a stage. Together they locate the riches found when we stop looking only where we are told.
